Is the phobia of banana real?

I saw this article about bananaphobia and wondered if it was real? I dont mean to be rude asking this question but it felt like someone was joking when talking about the "sound" of a banana.

I'm scared of bananas and this is why

I dont like bananas but I think that is very different from a banana phobia?

There is a huge difference between not liking something and a phobia. I wish I could eat bananas for their health benefits but the smell and texture puts me off. Thats not a phobia, well I dont think it is?
