Hello all, phobia or not?

Hello All,

My name's Janine and for a few years now I've been a bit uneasy around heights but it's not really a fear just a queasy feeling, and it's usually from 'dangerous' heights. The type where it's just a fence or barrier separating me from the potential drop, if I'm inside a building or behind glass it doesn't bother me. So it hasn't really impacted my life much however, we recently went on a cruise and I was constantly getting that same uneasy feeling everytime I was near the edge of the boat. It was manageable as long as I was holding on to the barrier but I also got anxious when my husband had his phone out in case he dropped it over the side, which reduced the enjoyment of our holiday somewhat. I don't know if this is a fear exactly, so not sure if fear therapy would help, but wondered if this was a common thing and what other people did to conquer it.
