Fear of wearing gloves in public

I am not sure if this is a phobia of wearing gloves in public or more of a social phobia but I am feared of wearing gloves in public. The problem is that with the coronavirus set to be around for some time, it would make sense to wear gloves and even some form of mask in public.

In my mind if I knew more people were wearing gloves (and even masks) then this would make it easier for me. Can anybody help?

What the devolved parliament and UK government are saying, it looks like wearing gloves might be an option on public transport while wearing masks could be mandatory. This will certainly upset a few people!

I think it will be some time before our lives return to anywhere near normal and issues such as wearing gloves and masks may well become commonplace and "natural" at least until we find a vaccine.
