Did you know that Syngenesophobia is the fear of family and relatives? This would probably be classified as a social phobia - has anybody ever come across this before?

This is not a phobia I have ever heard of before. However, many people seem to have a dislike of some members of their family. As they say, you can choose your friends but not your family!

The more I read about phobias the more I believe it is the mind controlling the body. We all have ups and downs in our relationships with friends and family but to have an actual phobia must be terrible.
