A phobia of job interviews must be extremely frustrating

This one seems like a nightmare to me! If you are struggling to make ends meet, short of money and effectively unable to live a life, employment would be one of the best ways to escape. So, if you are unable to attend job interviews because of your phobia I really don't know where you would go from there.

While I have suffered anxiety and panic attacks in the past thankfully this has not impacted my ability to attend job interviews. This must be a terrible situation to be in especially with the pressure of everyday life and the ever-growing number of bills to pay.

You're putting yourself in a situation where you're opening yourself up to judgement, potential rejection and failure. Some anxiety is pretty much to be expected.

BTW, Admin, please be more careful with the wording of headlines, you're giving a suggestion to the reader in the headline to this thread

Good point Andy - a headline like this can impact the flow of different opinions.
